It seems like in Corsica the press has been using some stereotypes of the island at the same time they've been refusing them, something quite contradictory but very related with the construction of the island identity: landscape, nationalism, terrorism, colonialism, poverty, tourism, clans, clientelism...

Corsica Newsstand reflects in a delirious way the symbolic violence that surround the island though a meta-narrative in wich cigarettes, crosswords magazines and old headlines from magazines, create a colorful map of the insular anxiety.
